It is a very active and vibrant women’s section. We are lucky enough to have one of the largest Women’s Sections in Lincolnshire, with ages ranging from 5 to 90 years! We have three county league teams, a scratch team, friendly team and mixed team. There are weekly competitions and roll-ups. If you need a partner for Mixed matches we can find you one. We cater to women of all abilities and have a number of low handicap golfers, there is also an Academy for anyone new to golf which is well supported by the members.
Message from the Women’s Captain… Hope to see you soon
There is a thriving, strong men’s section at the club with plenty of opportunities for team golf. Our ‘A’ Team finished second last year in their league with the result in the balance to the very last point. If elite golf is not your forte there are numerous Club competitions during the season, which are played both at weekends and midweek, so there are opportunities for all members to take part. For the more social golfer, the backbone of the Men’s Section is the ‘Roll-Ups’ which are on most days, all are welcome.
Message from the Men’s Captain… “If you want some fun, whilst playing on a great course join Elsham it’s a great place to be!”
Elsham Seniors are a section within Elsham Golf Club that organise and run various events and competitions throughout the year. At 8am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday there is the senior roll-up, where members meet for a social game of golf.
The aim of our junior section is to provide juniors with a fun and safe environment to experience golf, to give them the opportunity to progress to their potential and to equip them with golfing skills that can be used and enjoyed for the rest of their lives.
At Elsham Golf Club, our PGA Professional, David McNicholas delivers Junior Coaching; on a group and individual basis. All coaching is tailored to meet individual needs.
The club also offers Junior Group Coaching sessions on a Saturday. The Elsham Junior Section are also entered into the North Lincolnshire Junior League. Once Junior’s gain a handicap, they have the opportunity to represent the Club in organised matches
